符合座椅和仪表板的最高汽车标准

由于单宁的天然抗菌特性,提供了广泛的颜色范围、耐用性、舒适性、透气性且无异味 在希迈2025上,Ecotan成为焦点,因为它与中国汽车行业对内饰的循环、可升级再造材料的关注产生了完美的共鸣。除了汽车,Ecotan还开辟了多种第二生命途径——将报废的皮革、废料和辅料转化为符合UNI EN 16848的生物肥料、堆肥和生物炭。

所有这些都得到了CTC ARS Tinctoria实验室于2025年初进行的开创性研究“为重生而生:360°生物循环”的支持。

 “Ecotan chrome-free & metal-free Leather: From Natural Tanning Ingredients to Car Interiors with a Circular Future.”

In 2021, Silvateam introduced Ecotan®—the first truly biocircular tanning technology, 100% chrome-free and metal-free, built on natural extracts from chestnut, quebracho, tara, and olive pruning. This innovative system produces luxurious, high-performance leathers designed with a second life in mind.

Developed with 45+ leading tanneries worldwide

Meets the highest automotive standards for seats & dashboards

Wide color range, durability, comfort, breathability & no-odor building thanks to the natural antibacterial properties of tannins

At POLARIS 2025, Ecotan takes center stage as it resonates perfectly with the Chinese automotive industry’s focus on circular, upcyclable materials for interiors. Beyond the car, Ecotan opens multiple second-life pathways—transforming end-of-life leather, scraps, and trimmings into biofertilizer, compost, and biochar in line with UNI EN 16848. 

All of this is supported by the groundbreaking study “Made to be Reborn: Biocircularity 360°”, conducted by CTC ARS Tinctoria Laboratory in early 2025.

With Ecotan®, leather is not only designed to last—it’s made to be reborn in countless ways.
